Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde makes Time’s 100 Most Influential People list

Omotola Jalade-EkeindeNollywood’s leading lady, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, was recognized by Time Magaine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2013. The top actress in Africa was listed among other notable figures, including Michelle Obama, Beyonce, and Jay-Z and previous honorees like Oprah Winfrey and Barack Obama.

The 34 year-old Nollywood superstar is also a musician, mother of four, and philanthropist of the Omotola Youth Empowerment Programme and was honoured in the  Time’s ‘Icons” category. Modern Ghana puts it best in summarizing Mrs. Jalade-Ekeinde’s humanitarian efforts and contribution to the Nollywood industry.
