Basketmouth LIVE in Edmonton – June 30

Basketmouth in EdmontonRex Entertainment and LZ Entertainment are at it again, bringing African shows to Edmonton (#yeg). This time, the two professionals will host Basketmouth on June 30, 2013.

I’m super excited and very proud of the two on their journey to turning things around for Africans in #yeg, giving them entertaining events to look forward to every so often.

There’s been nothing like this in the two places I’ve lived in Canada—a dedicated source/company that brings in African artists. Not when I lived in Halifax, and I didn’t find it here in #yeg either until Rex and LZ took it on. I know that with Rex and LZ, I’m guaranteed at least a few shows every year.

So far this year, they’ve brought in Nato C and Iyanya. While Nato C was a nightmare/drama king, Iyanya sold out and rocked the house like there was no tomorrow.

This venture is still fairly new for Rex and LZ and there’ll be learning moments along the way. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Stay tuned for updates from the event!
